I strongly believe that no two students are alike. Each lesson is custom tailored to my students with an emphasis on individual learning styles and musical goals.
My Philosophy
I always aim to keep a students love for music alive and well, and to help new comers find that special connection to music and their instrument. Music has been the greatest love of my life and I hope to share that with my students!
I gently but effectively teach the fundamentals of piano and guitar zeroing in on what students are hoping to learn. I find that people often get more out of the lessons when we learn a contemporary piece they choose and use that as an opportunity to dive into the theory and technique behind it.
The most important thing to me is that students are able to tap into the musician that lives within all of us.
Behind the Lessons...
Ella is a versatile music teacher offering lessons in electric guitar, guitar, piano, and singer-songwriter techniques. Currently studying audio production at Harris Institute for the Arts, she specializes in production, writing, and performance.
With over a decade of guitar experience and a strong foundation in piano and voice, her teaching blends classical theory with contemporary styles. Ella provides lessons online, in her Toronto studio, and in students' homes.
